Would you love to improve your photography and would like to feel more confident using your camera to capture great pictures of your family, friends and your travels?

Have you purchased or been gifted a camera but feel overwhelmed by your instruction manual?

We offer a foundation ONE DAY photographic tuition workshop with Fergus Noone to learn more about your camera and help you improve your photography.

Based in Blackheath, Fergus and his tutorial advisor Karyn Campbell will explain the functions and modes of your camera and also cover:

  • How to improve your photography from the technical & aesthetic side
  • The camera basics and fundamentals
  • Manual Mode allowing you full control
  • Explanation of the relationship between ISO, Aperture & Shutter Speed
  • Exposure metering

The workshops are limited to small groups with the emphasis on a friendly atmosphere. We start the day with tea/coffee at the gallery and then discuss with each member of the group the settings on their camera with practical hands on help.

Throughout the day we will also:

  • Give a short tour of Greenwich Park taking in many of the favourite landmarks including The Old Royal Naval College, The Meridian Line and The London Skyline from Greenwich.
  • Back at the gallery we demonstrate the wonders of photographic post production

Hi Karyn & Fergus,

Thanks for your email. I really enjoyed the workshop on Sunday - a very relaxing and stimulating day! - and, yes, it was really valuable in getting to know my camera!

I’ve managed to download the ten step guide, which looks very useful, and I’ve "liked" you on Facebook.

Hi Karyn & Fergus,

I have been meaning to email you all week to say what a lovely day it was on Sunday.

I really enjoyed learning a bit more about my camera and taking all of those "snaps" - so much so I took my husband back on the Monday to put into practice what we learned on the Sunday.

It was very informative without being overwhelming and you both took time with each of us to encourage and advise.  They were a nice friendly bunch too!

Thank you again for a most enjoyable day and forwarding the pictures we took.

Good Luck with your future courses and I would definately recommend my friends to join you to learn more about their cameras.

With Best Wishes and Kind Regards,

Denise Hogan

Thank you so much for sending through the photos from Sunday’s workshop. I very much enjoyed myself and found it very useful. For me the two most interesting part was the walk through the park and having Fergus and you give tips at the location and the editing afterwards.

Hi Fergus & Karyn,

Just a quick email to thank you and Karyn for a brilliant day today. I had a lot of fun and learned lots.

A great time!

Catch up again soon

I really enjoyed the day. I learnt a lot about my camera and it’s settings. I have the confidence now to experiment more with my camera’s functionality in order to get the perfect shot. It was lovely to come home with my own professionaly printed photograph to which looked amazing after some Photoshop alterations!

I would recommend this as a gift too for a friend or relative.
